The area is full of options for grabbing a pint with many bars located by each other. It’s Denver’s most densely populated neighborhood. It’s a great place for walking along and admiring its turn-of-the-century architecture.
Capitol Hill borders Colfax Ave to the north and around 6th Ave to the south. We list bars west into the Golden Triangle on the east side of Speer. To the east, we go just past Cheesman Park.

Park Tavern – Famous for their drink tokens, the Park Tavern & Restaurant is a longtime locals’ favorite. This fairly expansive saloon features a couple of pool tables, a separate bar, and a restaurant area. It’s been remodeled over the years to improve as the neighborhood grows.
