Uptown is Denver’s oldest residential neighborhood, located between downtown and City Park. It’s a fun place to grab a drink, with many restaurants situated close together on 17th Avenue.
The area’s sometimes referred to as North Capitol Hill since it’s only 2 blocks north of Colfax Ave and the start of Cap Hill. It’s an awesome place to go for a bar crawl with the many differ pockets of bars located mainly on 17th Avenue and a few sides in Denver.
Uptown lies next to downtown, stretching from Colfax Ave to 20th Ave, south to north, and from Broadway to York Street/City Park, west to east.
Five Points is the neighborhood to the north and Capitol Hill is to the south.
