The DU/University Hills area has several great bars and restaurants. The University neighborhood is centered around the DU campus and extends into the hills above. Both neighborhoods are located on either side of I-25 in the town of Denver. There are few bars that extend south into Englewood.
Most of the bars are college bars, with a range of additional dives, sports pubs and restaurants around the area. DU is home to the Pioneers and over 12,000 students.
