Common Grounds is a spacious coffeehouse nestled in the Sunnyside neighborhood. They serve sandwiches, ice cream and pastries, as well as bottled beer and wine by the glass. There’s plenty of seating, a patio and books to borrow.
It’s open every day from 6:30am to 9pm. There’s another Common Grounds in Lodo.

Common Grounds is my favorite neighborhood place to grab a drink with friends. They don’t need a happy “hour” as their beer and wine prices are always affordable. Since it’s nestled in a neighborhood parking is not an issue. Their deck is sunny and it’s next to a great little urban farm. AND it’s family friendly!
